Who Are We?
The Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers at the University of Washington (SASE-UW) is a registered student organization dedicated to fostering community, leadership, and professional growth among students of Asian heritage pursuing careers in science and engineering.
SASE-UW empowers members to achieve their academic and career goals, whether that means exploring potential majors, preparing for internships, or building the skills to stand out in their fields. Our members gain hands-on leadership experience through organizing professional events, leading community service initiatives, and mentoring fellow students.
We proudly promote diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness: values shared across all SASE chapters nationwide, as we welcome students of all backgrounds who share our commitment to professional excellence and cross-cultural understanding.
